WHAT: “Celebrating Our Graduates 2012”
A program and celebration to recognize the 650+ seniors in Communities In Schools program who are on track to graduate in June. Selected underclassmen (freshman, sophomores, juniors) will also be recognized (those who have shown significant improvement, leadership and are on track for promotion to the next grade).
Note: We have changed it up a bit this year – the event is in a new venue with a larger capacity. Box lunches will be served (vs. a seated luncheon), and we are expecting a much larger crowd – about 1,000 students from 12 high schools, as well as approximately 500 supporters, volunteers, CIS and CMS staff, and community guests. High energy event with recognition awards and celebration as the focus!
